Nanny English and German speaker – Amsterdam – Live-out

For a very busy client we are looking for a Live Out Nanny in Amsterdam for their 5 year old son.
The candidate must speak fluent English and German.
The candidate will be able to live with the family for a few weeks if they wish while they look for accommodation.
The position starts in December.
The nanny will need to be very flexible (start early in the morning, work evenings and weekends, overnight etc…) as the mother is very busy, the candidate will need to be able to be available for sometimes different hours each week.
To ensure that the nanny is not overburdened and can have a private life, she will need to discuss the schedule with the parents.
The contract will be based on 40 hours per week + 2 babysitting sessions.
(Monday to Friday from 3pm to 8pm and Wednesday from 12pm).
The child is bright and eager to learn. He attends a local school full time finishing at 3 pm four days per week and 12pm one day a week. Most of the time the parents will do school drop off and you will pick him up. He has after school activities most days. Part of your duties will be arranging, booking and taking him to activities.
It’s vital you speak either German and English also if the nanny speak Dutch it’s a plus.
They would love a sporty nanny, who enjoys playing outside, running around and exploring with the child. Ideal candidates for this role are creative, coming up with new ideas for learning, activities and meals. Someone who is forward thinking and confident about using their initiative.The family travels during most school holidays, a nanny happy to travel worldwide is needed. In general they try to plan the trips in advance. Your schedule would vary when you travel.

Candidates need to be seeking a role where they are happy to stay with the family for at least two years ideally longer. The current nanny has worked with the family for five years, she is happy to speak with potential nannies and do a handover. Interviews and trials are happening ASAP.
If you are relocating for work the family is happy to arrange accommodation for the first eight weeks you work with them.If you are sporty, enjoy travelling, happy to be flexible with your schedule and passionate about nannying this is the role for you!
Requirements:
EU passport or permit/visa for the location of the job
Three years full-time professional childcare experience
Valid paediatric first aid
A recent police check.
